COOKIE POLICY

Last updated: 21 October 2026

1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how KEFI uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data, who receives it, international transfers and your rights.

The website is operated by Olga Gorenko, a sole trader trading as KEFI, Via dei Biscottari 4, Palermo (PA), Italy. Partita IVA: 07413090825. Email: ogorenko@gmail.com.

2. What cookies and similar technologies do

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, can also save information on your device. We use these technologies to manage cookie choices, support website functions and language preferences, and, with your consent, measure visits and interactions.

Session cookies normally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you delete them. Local storage can remain until it is cleared by the website or through your browser settings.

3. Necessary cookies and language preferences

We use Complianz to record and respect your cookie choices. Its cookies include cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_marketing, cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_policy_id and cmplz_statistics.

These cookies record choices about categories or services. A cookie named cmplz_marketing does not itself mean that advertising trackers are used or that you have agreed to advertising.

Polylang uses pll_language to remember the website language. Necessary technologies are used without optional analytics consent where they are strictly necessary to provide a service you request, including remembering your cookie choices or selected language.

WordPress may also use technical cookies or browser storage for login, administration and editing. Records associated with an administrator’s session are not necessarily placed on the devices of ordinary visitors.

4. Optional analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand visits and interactions with the website, including clicks on buttons and links. The cookies detected include _ga and _ga_GHR6NMGVGR, which belongs to the _ga_* cookie family. These are used to distinguish visitors and maintain session information for website statistics.

Analytics information can include pages viewed, traffic sources, device and browser information, approximate location and online identifiers. These data are not necessarily anonymous. We do not intentionally send customer names, email addresses, WhatsApp numbers or access codes to Google Analytics.

Optional analytics cookies require your prior consent. Rejecting them does not prevent you from browsing the website or purchasing a walk. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies as part of the service described in this policy.

5. Cookie details and duration

The following cookies are used on the public website. They are first-party cookies stored under the website’s domain. Google Analytics cookies support the Google service described above.

Cookie and providerPurpose and duration
cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_marketing, cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_policy_id and cmplz_statistics — KEFI through ComplianzRecord cookie and service choices, the relevant policy version and whether the banner has been dismissed. Duration: 365 days
pll_language — KEFI through PolylangRemember the website language. Duration: 1 year
_ga — Google AnalyticsDistinguish visitors for website statistics. Default duration: 2 years
_ga_GHR6NMGVGR — Google AnalyticsMaintain session information for website statistics. Default duration: 2 years

Google Analytics cookie expiry can be renewed when you revisit the website while analytics consent remains active. Your browser settings or privacy protections may shorten cookie lifetimes. Deleting a cookie removes it earlier.

WordPress login and editor-related storage is used for authorised administration rather than ordinary customer browsing. Browser storage used for technical functions can last for the session or remain until cleared, depending on the function.

Cookie expiry on your device is separate from the retention of data already collected by an analytics service. Google Analytics user-level and event-level data are retained for up to 14 months under the configured retention setting, as explained in our Privacy Policy. That setting does not necessarily apply to aggregated standard reports.

6. Your choices

When you first visit, the cookie banner lets you accept or reject optional cookies. Merely browsing the website or scrolling does not constitute consent.

You can review your choices and withdraw optional consent using the controls below. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

You can also view, block or delete cookies and other website data through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect language preferences or other functions. Deleting website data can also remove the record of your cookie choices, so the banner may appear again.

7. External services and links

An ordinary link to Google Maps, WhatsApp or another external service does not itself embed that service in the page. When you follow a link, the destination service may use its own cookies and process data under its own policies.

Payments take place on Stripe’s hosted checkout. Cookies used on that checkout are governed by Stripe’s notices and the choices available there. They are separate from cookies placed on this website.

For more information, see Google’s information about cookies and Stripe’s Cookie Policy. Our Privacy Policy provides further information about the providers we use and international data transfers.

8. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when the website’s technologies or applicable requirements change. The current version and update date will be published on this page.

For questions about cookies or personal data, contact ogorenko@gmail.com.
